Andrew Wertz
Born and raised in the foothills of the Snowy Mountains Andrew Wortes started his musical journey at a young age, his debut performance at age 7. He developed his diverse and engaging sound throughout his highschool years where he captivated audiences with his blend of Pop, Rock and Folk.
After moving to Melbourne to study a Bachelor of Music, In 2017 he was featured on Triple J when his band “Tempus Sun” released their first single “Owls” and second single “Gold”. Andrew has also supported Australian icons Glenn Shorrock and Brian Cadd. In 2019 he was shortlisted in Vanda and Young’s ‘Songwriter of the year’ award with Francoistunes and his track “Seasons”. Andrew released his debut single “Supersoaker” in 2020 Performed at 2021 Tumut River Tap Days, 2022 “Born in the Snowy’s” festival.
